What makes COREtec Plus more advanced than other luxury vinyl floors? COREtec includes two special layers that add extra resistance, strength, and protection. One of these layers is the COREtec structure, which makes the floor waterproof and dimensionally stable. This means that the floor will not absorb water or other liquids, and it will not expand or contract in moist settings. The other layer is the cork underlayment, and this provides sound insulation and resists mold and mildew. As a result, COREtec floors stay quiet and remain clean, regardless of foot traffic. Plus, the cork underlayment makes it possible to install COREtec floors over most imperfect surfaces, including tile, laminate, and stone. Other luxury vinyl options simply cannot do this!
